Program Application Info
Thank
you for your interest in the Department of Rehabilitation
Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine. Through
the combined efforts of an extraordinary faculty and staff,
we provide personal attention to each of our residents
and resident applicants. Our goal is to develop an outstanding,
nationally recognized, residency program in Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you
may have about the process or the Department of Rehabilitation
Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine.
If you are interested in applying to our Residency Program,
please use the ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service): http://www.aamc.org/audienceeras.htm
Each ERAS application will be carefully considered and
valued on its own merit. If selected for an interview,
you will be contacted by this office. Our interview season
is November, December and January. We have a deadline of
November 30 for final applications.
We look forward to hosting interviews for our applicants.
If you are invited for an interview, you will be given
a choice of dates, and we will do our best to accommodate
your schedule.
We also welcome and encourage extern rotations here,
while you are still in medical school. If you are interested
in applying for an externship with our department, please
visit: http://emorymed.emory.edu/electives
If you schedule an elective with the Dean’s Office,
please call us immediately for details.
We would welcome the opportunity to meet you as soon
as possible!
Be sure to check back for more information and future
updates!
Again, please feel free to contact me if you have any
questions. I look forward to meeting you in the Fall.
Good Luck!
Sincerely,
Miki DeJean, MA
Residency Coordinator
