Principle Investigator: Dr. Brenda Greene

Dr. Greene explores the relationships between musculoskeletal impairments, physical abilities and participation in social roles. She has a particular interest in health promotion strategies for persons with chronic diseases such as arthritis and work-related cumulative trauma disorders.

Topics of recent studies include: balance impairments in people with arthritis, the application of the ICF model to a Rheumatoid Arthritis population, effectiveness of a group education and exercise program in African American women with knee osteoarthritis, and factors related to physical activity behavior in people with arthritis.
