Overview
Dr. Krishnamoorthy’s research focuses on the biomechanics and motor control of human posture and locomotion. She is particularly interested in muscle coordination and the organization of muscle synergies in healthy individuals and the effect of age and neurological dysfunction on muscle coordination. This information can be used to guide rehabilitation techniques.
