Overview
Dr. Hoder received both his DPT and MS degrees in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He received his clinical subspecialty certification in Neurology (NCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Dr. Hoder has significant experience in neuro-rehabilitation that he obtained while working at the Rusk Institute at New York University and at the Kessler Institute. While at Rusk, he was the Clinical Specialist for Adult Inpatient Services and led the development of a specialized stroke unit. At the Kessler Institute, he was the lead therapist on the Brain Injury and Stroke Units. Additionally, he has advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation and in neuro-developmental therapy (NDT Trained). At Emory, Dr. Hoder spends time as a clinician in the Movement Disorders Clinic, specializing in the treatment of individuals with Parkinson's DIsease, Huntington's Disease and Cerebellar ataxia, as well as time in the Dizziness and Balance Center.
