Students participate in clinical experience beginning in the spring term of their first year. Part time experiences are integrated into three major courses - acute medical rehabilitation (spring year-1, orthopedic rehabilitation (spring/summer year-2) and neurorehabilitation (full year 2). Three full-time affiliations, each 3 months long, occur in the second and third years and include acute care, rehabilitation, and community (usually orthopedic out-patient) practices.
